About the Project
I AM A STAR is a movement to create a brighter future for girls in Pakistan. Designed specifically for the marginalized communities they serve, I AM A STAR schools provide quality, informal education to girls with little or no access to formal education in a model that can be easily replicated and scaled nationally across Pakistan.
The project’s school network has been developed by Pakistan Alliance for Girls Education and is working in partnership with public and private institutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality informal education for girls. The main goal is to create an equal playing field for out of school children – especially girls. Established partnerships and/or signed MOUs are in place with the following institutions:

• The Higher Education Commission
• Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy
• Japan International Cooperation Agency
