Violet Akinyi Oktech

Violet Oketchis is an education leader dedicated to transforming how schools, teachers, and communities work together to deliver meaningful and lasting learning outcomes. As Program Manager with Opportunity EduFinance, she leads initiatives that strengthen school leadership, empower teacher mentors, and build the capacity of education officers to improve instructional quality, financial management, and data-driven decision-making in schools across Africa. Her experience spans the design, coordination, and delivery of large-scale education programs, including USAID-funded projects, across multiple African countries.

 

Violet has worked closely with ministries of education, curriculum development bodies, and local communities to ensure that education interventions are not only impactful but also aligned with national priorities and sustainable over the long term.A passionate advocate for educational technology, Violet champions the integration of digital tools and platforms to enhance teaching, foster collaboration, and support continuous professional development for educators. She believes that well-implemented EdTech solutions can bridge gaps in access, equity, and quality, transforming the way both teachers and students experience learning.
