Simeon Edidiong Anthony

Edidiong Anthony Simeon is a dynamic development leader and Country Director at AREAi. For over eight years, she has been driving digital and foundational learning innovations across Nigeria and Africa. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration, and is currently advancing her expertise with a Master’s in International Affairs and Diplomacy.

Edidiong designs, leads, and scales transformative education programmes that have reached more than 1,350,000 learners, educators, and communities. She applies a strong mix of research-based design, data-driven learning strategies, and evidence translation to strengthen education systems and influence policy. She has led and managed high-impact projects supported by partners such as UNICEF, the Malala Fund, and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

Passionate about equity, access, and educational innovation, Edidiong continues to pioneer scalable and inclusive learning models that equip children and young people with the foundational skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
