After graduating with a Graphic Design degree from the American University in Cairo, Rana spent years experimenting with the different ways design could be used as a tool to drive dialogue, inspire curiosity, and build community. Currently, Rana operates at the intersection of design, education, and facilitation and has experience building educational programs that are learner-centered and based in co-creation. Since 2020, she has been focusing her research on exploring alternative educational models as well as experimenting with facilitation as a tool through which self-organized learning can be designed and delivered.
In her current role as a Learning Experience Designer at Re:Coded, Rana is co-creating a 21st Century Skills learning pathway that is meant to equip students with the competencies needed to thrive in the workplace of the future.
