Ji Liu, Ph.D. is Professor of Comparative Education and Economics of Education at Shaanxi Normal University, PR China, and Senior Research Associate at NORRAG of the Graduate Institute in Geneva, Switzerland. Ji was a consultant at the World Bank, and contributed to its flagship publication World Development Report 2018: Realizing the Promise of Education. He earned his doctorate degree at Columbia University, and was named a Forbes China 30 Under 30 laureate in 2019.
