Niamh Whelan

Niamh holds a decade of experience in the education sector, working with INGOs and across global curricula. Niamh spearheaded the renovation of the WISE Prize for Education program, repositioning its efforts to drive impact at scale. The program, an initiative of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, actively addresses perennial education challenges in foundational literacy and numeracy, the instruction of Arabic language, and artificial intelligence. Niamh specializes in program strategy and global stakeholder engagement, with acute knowledge and practice in pedagogical innovation from her early-career years as an educator. Niamh is passionate about education equity, collaborating with international partners to design, scale and accelerate solutions to improve life and learning outcomes, across Africa, MENA and LATAM. Niamh is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin.
