Muez Ali

Muez Ali is a Research and Policy Lead at Earthna: Center for a Sustainable Future at Qatar Foundation, Honorary Research Fellow at the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources at UCL in London, and Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University in Qatar. He is also the Coordinator of the Working Group on Energy Strategy and Research Collaborations for Africa at IDEAs Africa and a Non-Resident Fellow at the Africa Policy Research Institute in Berlin. He holds a PhD in Economics and Energy from UCL. His research activities and interests span food security, climate change in the MENA region and Sub-Saharan Africa, electrification and energy access, and the political economy of knowledge production and development.
