Qatar Reads

Senior Program Development Officer

Raja Aderdor’s work explores the intersection of education, creativity, and community engagement. As Senior Program Development Officer at Qatar Reads, an initiative of Qatar National Library, she designs and leads innovative programs that connect reading with broader cultural and social participation.

Her projects focus on transforming reading into a shared experience that links homes, schools, and creative spaces through initiatives such as the Family Reading Program, which introduces communities to storytelling, art, and imaginative experiences. Raja’s approach combines narrative design, cultural programming, and educational innovation to make reading a catalyst for empathy and lifelong learning.

Beyond her institutional role, she is a filmmaker and photojournalist whose visual work documents how culture and place shape human connection. Raja is passionate about the Arabic language and the future of content creation, particularly how AI can support cultural diversity in education.
