Senior Analyst

Nariman Moustafa is an Egyptian educator, researcher, policy advisor, and community organizer specializing in decolonial and social justice-based education. With over a decade of experience in international education, social innovation, higher education, and participatory policy processes, she also brings expertise in agile and adaptive leadership. She holds a master’s degree in education from Harvard University.

As a senior researcher at EdTech Hub, a global consortium for evidence-based EdTech research, Moustafa focuses on data governance, personalized digital learning, and decolonizing EdTech. She is also a senior analyst at Open Development and Education (OpenDevEd), where she partners with WISE to lead the WISE testbeds program and co-design policymaking and leadership fellowships for ministry-level officials worldwide.

In Egypt, she serves as President of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Self-Discovery and Development, founding initiatives such as Mesahat: Liberating Learning Spaces for Children and Tagawor for adults, both promoting justice-centered learning. Committed to local action and transnational solidarity, she is a steering member of the Ecoversities Alliance, a 500+ global network reimagining higher education from a decolonial perspective. She also teaches community organizing and adaptive leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and is a Post-Growth Fellow at the Post Growth Institute.
