Performing Arts Specialist

Aisha Al Sultan is a cultural researcher and arts enthusiast, she currently serves as Performing Arts Specialist at Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education, where she develops and leads cross-school programs that foster creativity, student voice, and cultural identity. Her productions focus on integrating Arabic language and contemporary artistic practices, positioning the arts as a powerful vehicle for learning and community engagement.

Beyond her institutional role, Aisha is the founder of Karaoke BelAraby, a cultural entrepreneurship venture that promotes Arabic language and music through interactive musical experiences in Qatar and the UAE. She is also an active researcher and former associate at the Doha International Family Institute, where she contributed to studies on family, and social change—reflecting her interdisciplinary approach that connects the arts, education, and societal well-being.

In addition to her educational and artistic leadership, Aisha frequently serves as spokesperson and Master of Ceremony for national and international conferences, cultural forums, and community celebrations. She also continues her personal journey in music through playing the qanun, an instrument that anchors her practice in the Arab musical tradition while inspiring her vision for arts education.

Her academic journey includes a Master’s in Linguistics from University College London and a Bachelor’s in Culture and Politics from Georgetown University in Qatar.
