He is an internationally recognised social entrepreneur receiving Diploma Award, UNESCO (2010), Ashoka Fellowship (2011), Guinness Social Fund Award (2012). In 2013, Alison was a WISE Award winner (Qatar Foundation). He was a World Economic Forum Social Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist 2016. Alison was awarded the EU Civil Solidarity Award in Feb 2020 for educating the world about COVID. He holds two degrees in business, UL (BBS 89) and Harvard (MBA 94).
