Dr. Tim Rogmans is founder and Managing Director of Sim Institute, a company that designs and develops simulation games for education and training in the fields of management, economics, and sustainability. Sim Institute’s simulations have won multiple awards and are used by hundreds of companies, universities, and schools worldwide to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. Over 200,000 learners have used Sim Institute’s simulations.
Dr. Rogmans is a faculty advisor for Harvard Business Publishing, a role in which he helps business educators effectively deploy simulations in their courses. He also publishes regularly on the effective use of simulations in education.
He was previously an Associate Professor and Director of Executive Education at the College of Business at Zayed University in Dubai. Before that, he worked as a Director at Atradius Credit Insurance and as a strategy consultant with Gemini Consulting and LEK Consulting.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics, an MBA from INSEAD, and a PhD from Nyenrode University.
