Founder & CEO
Carmina is the CEO and Founder of InvestEd.ph, a success platform for Filipino GenZs. Globally awarded with $6.5M in funding and 4K+ graduates generating $17M annual salary income, InvestEd built the Philippines’ most accurate AI for Gen Zs. This led its student lending business to have the highest repayment rates in the region and the most preferred by students. Its AI also paved the way for 3 other business models that enable employers and financial institutions to do white label education financing, talent recruitment, and Gen Z product placements.
Inspired by her parents who broke out of poverty and spent 30 years in microfinance, Carmina used her engineering and finance background to create the world’s most comprehensive study in youth lending spanning 60+ countries. She’s raised $10M+ over her career for InvestEd and impact businesses in developing markets and has trained 10,000+ youth in the region. She has been engaged by governments, companies, and academe worldwide, including Qatar, Australia, Luxembourg, and institutions such as INSEAD, Citibank, Times Higher Education, and UNDP.
