Bente Sandal Aasen is the Special Education Advisor for Plan International Norway, with a special focus on Global Education issues.
She has many years of experience working in the non-governmental sector with Save the Children Norway and the Norwegian Refugee Council, both in Norway and abroad. She has also worked for Norwegian People Aid, the Norwegian Association for the Disabled, and UNICEF.
She was a concert musician with Nordic Concert for 15 years. Ms. Aasen has an Advanced Master's degree in Methodology and Special Pedagogy. She is married and has three adult children.
