Ms Asmaa Fikree

Asmaa Fikree is a Youth Advocate, having completed an intensive introductory training in development work. In her capacity as a Youth Advocate she has spoken at the UNESCO Global Citizenship Education Summit and attended the World Humanitarian Summit. Her on-the-field experience has centered around education in Ethiopia, both in rural and urban environments. Through the Youth Advocacy Program she has collaborated with Ethiopian youth at Addis Ababa University to develop a mentoring program for IDP children in primary schools around the city. She is a graduate of International Economics from Georgetown SFS-Q and is currently working at Shell as a Business Development Advisor.
