Angela Skinner

Hi, my name is Angela Skinner, I came to Qatar from New Zealand where I taught for many years. I have been at Qatar Academy Al Wakra for 9 Years, but my teaching career spans over 20 years. I have taught in both public and private schools with a range of different students from various backgrounds.  

Currently I teach Mathematics to Grade 4 students, which is a new challenge this year. I am also currently working my way through a Master of Digital Education, so the area of digital technology and teaching philosophy surrounding it is something I am eager to explore. 

My journey with AI started fully when I began my Masters in 2023, and I have continued to look for ways to enhance the teaching and learning experience through its integration. I look forward to seeing how this can enhance teaching and learning in our IB environment at QAW.
