Amanda Abrom is the Director of the Global Schools Program at the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, where she leads a community of approximately 2,200 schools working to integrate Education for Sustainable Development into their curricula, training, and operations. In her role, she has conceptualized training and programmatic initiatives for schools worldwide, focused on topics such as renewable energy, STEAM education, climate education, ecosystem restoration, and global citizenship—reaching over 300,000 students and 100,000 community members.

She has worked as an educator in the U.S., Chile, and Spain; in higher education and residence life; and as a Program Assistant for U.S. Department of State-funded student exchange programs. She has worked on education initiatives with the Columbia Earth Institute, Education Cannot Wait Fund, and the UN Joint SDG Fund.

She is a Fulbright Scholar, a Qatar Foundation WEL Fellow, an Aspen Future Leader, a NAAEE 30 Under 30 honoree, and a UNCTAD Youth Delegate.
