Alina is a Director at Global Schools Forum (GSF) – a knowledge accelerator, funding catalyst and partnership builder for non-state education organisations. The GSF community is the largest of its kind, including 182 education organisations in over 70 low- and middle-income countries. Alina’s work focuses on providing accelerator support and funding that helps education innovations to become more impactful, testing impact-linked financing mechanisms, and diffusing lessons about scaling impactful solutions in education.

Prior to the Global Schools Forum, Alina was part of the co-founding team at the Education Outcomes Fund leading a pioneering innovative financing partnership with the government of Sierra Leone. She has also worked extensively on education evaluation and policy advice to education funders and governments at Oxford Policy Management, and as an Adviser to the Ministry of Economy in Moldova. She is a graduate of Oxford University and the London School of Economics. She is originally from Chisinau, Moldova and currently lives in London, UK.
