Mrs. Al-Khalifa began her academic career at Qatar University’s English Language Teaching Unit, then entered the teaching profession in local schools in 2000 as an English instructor. In 2004, she transitioned into a coordinator role, managing the teaching department. In 2005, her achievements led to her appointment as principal and later as director.

She joined Pre-University Education at Qatar Foundation in 2011 as a project manager and established Qatar Academy Sidra as her first project. In the years that followed, she established the National Programs Department and enhanced Qatar Foundation Schools’ curriculum-development processes to further empower student learning. As Executive Director of Academic Affairs, she led the Educational Development Institute, which offered professional development workshops and consultation services to the education community.

She later became the Executive Director of QF Schools, overseeing both the educational and operational aspects of all Qatar Foundation schools. Since 2021, she has served as the President of Pre-University Education, leading the K–12 portfolio of Qatar Foundation holistically.

Mrs. Al-Khalifa holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Qatar University. She has also completed an Educational Leadership Program from the Ministry of Education and a Management Leadership Program from Oxford University.
