Abdulla Al-Abdulla is the Executive Director of Reach Out to Asia (ROTA), a programme of the Education Above All Foundation. In this capacity, he provides senior leadership to ROTA’s work in prioritising youth-led action in the areas of climate action and green skills. He is a passionate advocate for engaging young people in decisions that affect them, not only as a right but also as a matter of principle.
In his previous role as ROTA Director of Quality, Impact & Strategy, Abdulla led a team that developed ROTA’s strategies, ensuring that the highest global standards of quality were met in order to maximise impact, credibility, and the voice and recognition of youth beneficiaries and stakeholders.
Prior to joining ROTA in 2011, he was Head of the Statistics Unit at the Department of Agricultural Affairs in the Qatar Ministry of Environment, where he was involved in statistics, food security, economics, and policy analysis.
Abdulla has an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, majoring in Innovation and Social Business, and a BSc in Agricultural Sciences from Qatar University.
