Dr. Asma Abdulla Al-Attiyah

Dr. Asma is the Head of the Psychological Sciences Department at  Qatar University’s College of Education . She specializes in Special Education and has published various research pbulications and recieved research grants related to her work exploring inclusion for special needs individuals. She serves on the board of the National Human Rights Committee of the State of Qatar, in addition to the Advisory Commitee of Awsaj Academy (Qatar Foundation). She has recieved the Egyptian Society for the Rehabilitation of the Handicapped award in 2002 and the International Day for Voluntarily Work award (Qatar) in 2001 . Passionate about special needs education, she has served as a volunteer for the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation for more than fifteen years.
