Nina Weaver is the Director of Refugee Education Programs at Southern New Hampshire University. Southern New Hampshire University’s refugee education programs are bringing competency-based online degree programs to populations affected by displacement worldwide, developing a comprehensive, context-sensitive, and scalable model for refugee higher education.
Previously Nina worked with the Humanitarian Innovation Project, a research group at the Refugee Studies Centre conducting research on refugee innovation, livelihoods, and economics of forced displacement. Nina holds a Master's Degree in Refugee & Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Philosophy in International Studies & African History from the University of Pittsburgh.
