Yomna El-Serafy
Analyst, Open Development and Education
Yomna is a doctoral researcher at the University of Cambridge and guest lecturer at the universities of Cambridge and UCL. Her research focuses on how refugees with disabilities experience migration, conflict, identity development, and education and on decolonial approaches to knowledge production. She is also an Analyst with Open Development and Education, a founding member of the EdTech Hub. EdTech Hub is a global research partnership with the FCDO, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Bank and Unicef, working to bring evidence into decision-making in all areas of EdTech. Yomna provides technical assistance to governments to develop their EdTech strategies, and conducts just-in-time research to support EdTech policymaking and program development.
