Niamh Whelan
Associate as part of the Innovation for Quality and Access track, WISE

Niamh is an Associate as part of the Innovation for Quality and Access track at WISE, supporting the WISE Awards, WISE Emerging Leaders and WISE Prize for Education programs. Before joining WISE, she spent five years working as a primary school teacher. Her time as an educator honed her experience in play-based learning and interest in social-emotional wellbeing. Niamh has volunteered with small-scale NGOs focused on education and health access in Africa, which spiked her curiosity in education in crisis contexts. Niamh is a graduate from Trinity College, Dublin and has undertaken a number of courses in University College Cork, University of Sunderland, and Harvard Graduate School of Education.
