WISE participated in the inaugural Curiosity Conference on April 21, 2018, on artificial intelligence (AI) and education held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California. Stavros Yiannouka, CEO, WISE, delivered a keynote address on the education challenges and opportunities posed by developments in artificial intelligence (AI). “Education ought to be, and increasingly is, a matter of concern for everyone, everywhere. It’s therefore important for WISE to regularly engage with diverse stakeholders from the fields of economics, business, and technology, to ensure that education remains high on their agendas, but also to continuously educate ourselves about new developments, and to reflect on their impact on education and vice versa.”
WISE was the inaugural partner of the conference, organized by Roboterra Inc, which is one of the first forums in Silicon Valley to explore the relationship between AI and education.
