Wayne Davies

Wayne Davies is Human Resources Director with General Electric (GE) based in Dubai, providing HR leadership to GE’s businesses in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.  In this role, Wayne is focused on helping GE to build talent and capability to support GE’s ambitious growth plans in the region for the Company.  GE sales revenues in the region are in excess of $11 billion and the Company hopes to build on this with continued investments in technology and talent.  

Key focus areas for Wayne include leadership diversity, localization, recruiting excellence and building HR capability. Over his 10-year career with GE, Wayne has held numerous HR leadership roles across multiple GE businesses including assignments with GE Healthcare, GE Aviation and GE Capital. Prior to joining GE, Wayne worked for 12 years in the steel industry as HR Director where he developed a strong background in labor relations. Wayne recently relocated to Dubai from London with his wife and has two children.
