Neagheen Homaifar

Director of Admissions, Minerva Project

United States of America

Neagheen Homaifar is Director of Admissions at Minerva Schools at KGI, a top-tier liberal arts and sciences university that was established to intentionally prepare students to solve the world’s complex problems. Homaifar’s team is responsible for designing and managing a completely reimagined admissions process, which evaluates students on individual merits and diminishes the effects of wealth, ethnicity, nationality, and other biases. She is also the creator of Minerva’s “Admitted” Youtube series, multiple short films designed to humanize Minerva students and help prospective students explore their own potential.

Before Minerva, Homaifar worked as a management consultant with the Parthenon Group, where she helped solve public and private sector challenges in education. She has also conducted ethnographic research in rural Latin America on microfinance, gender empowerment, and children’s access to education. When Homaifar isn’t working, you can find her doing improv comedy, scriptwriting with friends, or exploring local artisan markets.
