One of the key achievements of TAAP was to scale their social impact from being a project with 200 beneficiaries located in a rural community in Venezuela, to delivering workshops benefiting directly more than 21,000 children, adolescents, parents and educators across Latin America. In addition, TAAP aims to reach more than 2.600.000 members of the educational ecosystem with its teacher training program, conferences, campaigns, and open source programs, in addition to projects like the first Changemaker Education Summit in Latin America.

In 2014, Gabriela was selected as Ashoka Fellow and fellow of the Re-Imagine Learning Network of LEGO Foundation. She has been a speaker at several forums and meetings on issues related to education, peace building and social entrepreneurship. She has also conducted research in communities in Latin America related to the analysis of violence, peacebuilding and the use of communication and art for social development.
