Dina Pasic

Co-Founder, Second Tree


Dina Pasic is a human rights activist and educator who co-founded Second Tree, a grassroots NGO that works with refugees in Northern Greece. She has a master’s degree in Human Rights from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a certificate in Education in Emergencies from the University of Geneva.

Before starting Second Tree, she worked at the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), where she was the head of programs. She is passionate about empowering refugees to advocate for themselves and others, and creating a community where everyone has an equal voice. She developed the Refugees Are People (RAP) policy and training path, which aims to challenge the stereotypes and power dynamics that often affect refugees in humanitarian contexts.
