About the Project
NAVE was structured to design and develop replicable methodologies based on high-school education, which answer the question: “How can a school speak the language of its time and be ready to form citizens and professionals of the future?”
The program is developed in partnership with Rio de Janeiro and Pernambuco State Departments of Education, and is built on three pillars: a State School of Integrated Secondary Education for Vocational Training; a Research/Innovation Center; and a Dissemination Center of methodologies and pedagogical practices designed to develop public policies to help rethink education in Brazil. In a single full-time school the students have access not only to secondary education but also to disciplines from game programming areas, developing scripts for digital media and multimedia.
